    Never use a pixelate/blur filter these days. If you want to hide something in a screenshot, use a black box.

      Or a white box. Or a purple-and-pink gradient box. It was always the most reliable method anyway, since it ensures that there’s no real information within the bounds of the box to be recovered. As far as I can see, the only reason for the popularity of the filters is that they look a bit less jarring.

      This is not about still images, its specifically about video where you use a fixed pixelation grid on a moving object. Using that level of pixelation works perfectly fine on a screenshot. But yes, better just black it out anyways.
