I don’t get why people in the linux space are so allergic to change
Cuz dont fix it, if its not broken…
But some of us like to live on the bleeding edge, thats why Arch exists, but lately its too stable…
It’s because most of us are autistic
(Disclaimer, this is a joke based on my personal experience as an autistic tech nerd with a strong aversion to change. My observation is that there are a lot of autistic tech nerds, but I can’t speak for their propensity for change. This is mostly a joke at myself)

I expect my Arch desktop to get better day by day
I want minimal breaking for Debian on my Raspberry pi (I keep system apps up to date for security reasons, but I don’t update mongoDB or TexLive when it just works)
I like stable releases that don’t break my system, I guess.
So what are you running and when did you last update? Why do you hate updates so much?
Probably Windows 10 or something equally predatory.
What is this referring to?
Looks like it’s mocking Windows users. I can’t really tell if it’s sarcasm though.
I think this is targeted at bleeding edge users, regardless of OS. Y’know, those who think “stable” is synonimous with “obsolete”
“X is outdated”
“X is abandoned”
“X has bad security compared to wayland”
But… X is outdated, X is basically unmaintained and X is less secure than Wayland
Ok shill
I won’t even respond to that, I see this as a way of getting attention and as a way of stirring shit. Bye.
Ok shill
You use Windows because you think Linux is bad. I use it because I’m too lazy to get apps working on Linux. We are not the same.
