I love how some commenters are so great with words and feelings. Just when you think someone has explained perfectly how we feel, another person says something else which explains another aspect of our feelings, making it even more perfect how we feel. And so on.

For me, I don’t much care. I stopped visiting Reddit when my app was shut down. I find my information and make my contributions elsewhere now.

Obviously, you remember when MySpace was big. “No one is going to use Facebook…everyone is setup on MySpace.” We see how that went. So when people say “Aw nobody’s going to leave this platform…” I just smile.

For me, I have a nice Twitter feed. Really nice, lots of good people and it makes me happy. Nearly none of them are on Mastodon so I’m having a hard time doing this anew. I expect a lot of those folks will have a hard time moving to Mastodon, but some have left for Instagram. Not the same. I have found a lot of the same forums from Reddit here, and some are empty so I hope to help populate.
