Yeah no, I have seen multiple businesses closing down due to poor marketing promotion/budget.

And then we all complain that we didn’t know about a certain product/service because they didn’t market it good enough (we have seen it a lot of times with movies for example, then they turn into obscure classics with the pass of time, but not really profitable), also some games that didn’t really made themselves known while in critical selling weeks?

Who is gonna be the brave soul to release a game when GTA VI appears? That would be marketing suicide, no matter how good your game is.

Ah, here we are again at the stage of hating the company that makes the games but loving the games it makes…

Just curious, any other companies that ring that bell?

I have seen pics of the screen and honestly it looks so good, what kind of screen is it? (I know it is an OLED) like, you’d expect these companies to use very cheap panels or so.

After finishing Nier Automata in my Switch (quite an awesome port tbh, I cheated a bit as I overclocked my unit to make it run smoother) and Breath of The Wild I am focusing on smaller games, which are:

• Monument Valley (Android)
• Retro City Rampage (PS Vita)
• Pokémon Omega Ruby (almost finished, 3DS).

I use whatever the stock launcher of the ROM is…

I am a full screen gestures user and for me the 3rd party launchers are broken since A12, or probably before that, even with usage of the GestureNavContract API they are still not smooth enough for me…

With that said, if you are rooted you can get away from that limitation with Lawnchair and quickSwitch, or if you use navigation buttons you are gold with almost all the launchers I’d say.

Compared against a Switch 1, yes, it is a crazy deal, but I’d personally wait for a more powerful handheld, or a successor at least in 2025 (almost 2026) that truly competes against more recent PC handhelds, including the Switch 2.

Quite a bunch, but the ones I come more often to my mind (and that are not DS titles, if not it would be Jump Ultimate Stars, Metroid Prime Hunters or Mario Kart DS) are:

Jackie Chan Stutmaster and Toy Story 2, both PS1 games (among other PS1 titles).

Didn’t Yoko Taro said something similar regarding Nier?
