Well that’s just straight up not true. Not only did they not try to break the glass, they did research in advance to ensure that the art was appropriately sealed to ensure they didn’t damage it. Here’s a CNN report (you have to watch the video) where two eyewitnesses say the protestor tried to punch out the glass. I mean… I’m not accusing the person of being smart, trying to break bulletproof glass with their fists.
And I guess there’s always a chance this guy is from that other climate activist group that goes around vandalizing high-profile art, and then raving about how we’re killing the planet.
