What is lemmy.world doing defederating before hexbear even federates? lemmy.world/instances
This is what it took to defederate from exploding-heads after being federated with them since the start of lemmy.world

What evidence do you have of hexbear breaking the lemmy or citizen code of conduct?
Has the criteria for defederation changed?
Hexbear is one of the largest and most active lemmy instances:
Compared to lemmy.ml:
Compared to lemm.ee:
and lemmy.world:
Lemmy is so much better than Reddit! Anyway, the admins of this instance are deciding what you’re allowed to see, just like Reddit.
But that’s the great thing about Lemmy - you can just go to another instance and continue using Lemmy if you disagree with some admins decisions.
What’s your complaint?

All I’m asking for is an admin statement.
Its been over 40 minutes since the admin said they would make a statement are you pulling out pitchforks? I’m sure they talked this over and so would have a reasoning able to put out fairly quick
It’s not exactly like someone being deplatformed from FB or twitter or whatever… if you want to read Hexbear you can just go to their site.
That is true and the lemmy.world admins have that right but if lemmy.world wants to be a curated lemmy instance like beehaw.org they should be upfront about it
