Yeah I don’t think he’s really terribly intelligent. I do think that he’s a good ideas person perhaps , but he’s also arrogant and lacks the people around him to tell him NO when he has a bad one.

Edit ; I think the Hyperloop is a pretty good idea , the above ground one. And the underground stuff is good too. He just seems to be awful at execution.

Hyperloop is a stupid idea that doesn’t solve any real problems.
The Hyperloop is just a less practical high speed rail though. He’s like a child that watched Futurama or saw their parents use the tubes at a bank. It’s an idea plenty of people have come up with but see the obvious impracticality of it. Futurama in particular made it a joke. Is a Star Trek replicator a good idea since it’s complete fantasy? If I announce I want to make one do I have good idea or am I dumb because I don’t see the extremely obvious problems with it?
