Who could have ever forseen this?
Yeah…
That’s a good one. I actually like that one.
100% this. There’s been resistance everywhere over this. Minnesota drove out a bunch of ICE agents from their neighborhoods, there’s been major protests all over the US about it. Like… we’re for sure doing it.
Ah yes, the dangerous criminals that are out farming for slave wages. Good job ICE. I’m assuming that ICE is going to punish the farmer that employed these dangerous criminals? ICE has entirely lost the fucking plot…
No, they aren’t paying for the no kings rally. This has been planned for months - essentially since Trump declared he wanted his thuper duper special big boy parade.
Just because they paid for an ad to support the movement doesn’t mean it’s now co-opted by Walmart or any other billionaire.
This is blatant misinformation.
It’s grandstanding…but it pisses off the Orange Turdburgler so I can’t complain too much.
This man got caught up in good trouble. No one knows this guy. And if you think you do, no, you fucking don’t.
Wife already wants hourly neck and head massages. My thumbs are already working at max capacity, Captain. I’m giving it all I got!
So many people are unique in different ways. Some people eat meat, some don’t, some can’t. Some people are tall, some short, some average. Some people are the life of the party, and some are quiet. Some people feel comfortable in their bodies, and some don’t… And sometimes they want the be different. I don’t fault people for wanting to be comfortable with who they are. They should be comfortable in their own bodies, and if that means changing it, then that should be okay too. Sometimes, there are people that pick on other people for not liking the same things they do, or for not looking the way they do, and this can hurt the people that they are picking on. You may think it’s okay for you to ignore it because it doesn’t affect you, but that’s selfish. What if people decided to pick on you for something that you couldn’t control? Would you want other people to ignore it and turn a blind eye? No, right? You wouldn’t think that that is okay. Sometimes you need to stand up to help people and support them, especially when someone else is being mean to them…because you never know when those mean people might to start picking on you. And if no one helps each other, then the mean people feel like they can get away with it…like they have power over everyone else. But when we speak up, when we say ‘that’s not okay,’ we take that power away. We show them that being cruel isn’t something we accept or ignore.
Standing up for others isn’t just about helping someone else, it’s about creating a world that’s kinder and safer for everyone, including yourself. When we support each other, we build trust, respect, and strength in our communities. We show each other that we matter, just as we are.
So when you see someone being treated unfairly, remember: your voice matters. Even one person standing up can make a huge difference. Be that person."
Just had this conversation with my young daughter about bullies, I adapted it a bit, but I thought maybe you could use it too.
For real. Get these guys into leadership roles pronto! /s
The only thing this braindead administration wants is hatred, bigotry, and racism to spread.
I agree that most creators don’t become wealthy, and yes, there’s plenty of abuse and inequality in how IP laws are applied. But removing those laws wouldn’t solve that - it would just give even more power to the entities with the most money, reach, and legal muscle.
Without IP protections, smaller inventors and musicians wouldn’t even have the option to negotiate or earn anything off their work. A major label or corporation could just take it, polish it, and release it as their own without any consequences.
So while the system isn’t perfect, saying it “only exists to make the rich richer” misses the point. The alternative isn’t more equity, it’s no recourse at all for the little guy.
This is a terrible take. Sure. There are issues with the system, but these laws protect smaller musicians and inventors from having their ideas stolen and profited upon by larger players.
Without patent laws, there’s no reason to ever “buyout” a design from an inventor, or for smaller songwriters to ever get paid again. A large company or musician could essentially steal your work and make money off of it, and you would get nothing for all of the time and effort that you put into it.
I’m like 95% sure that’s the plan.
Lol no. The only person Trump is for is Trump. No one else comes close.
Can a conservative please explain to me how getting rid of every government entity that supports our citizens helps make our country better? Because it seems to me like he’s making it so that we now have ZERO social safety nets and ZERO support from the government.
Anyone with a shred of empathy, should understand how this will affect disadvantaged and marginalized citizens.
Not old enough to get a say in what happens to your body, but totes old enough to be responsible to raise a child.
These people are disgusting.
You should check out the HBO documentary on Qanon. It’s fantastic. Essentially, no. However, I don’t doubt for a second that Elon didn’t try to co-opt it at some point.
High fructose corn syrup. Sugar in general, but HFCS is essentially a drug in food form. Watch literally any documentary about it. You’ll start trying to avoid it where you can, I guarantee it. For example, check out Netflix’s “History 101” about it.
Another good food doc to check out (not about HFCS per se, but worth getting educated on): “Poisoned: The Dirty Truth About Your Food”.
How about we stop deporting people don’t like, whether they are white, brown, purple, or Jake Paul?
