Aren’t those moments the fucking best? When it’s such a “simple thing” to wake up next to someone and just feel that calm security or even the “fuck yeah you’re so goddamned attractive and you chose me too!”
I go through phases of this with my husband. We’ve been married for 13 years, and he is legit my best friend, and I find him to be just unbelievably hot af. I’ll go weeks where I’m just like “goddamn, this is mine?”
And then I also go through less intense periods. He’s still my partner through life and I’d get his back through anything and everything, but it’s less “omg you’re so hot” googly eyes and more like “this is the life we’ve built together and I’m so glad I did it with you”.
But then a few weeks later I’m in crush mode.
Obligatory of course we have our periods where we annoy the fuck out of each other, but it’s usually short-lived and we communicate and work through it. I think that’s just a realistic fact of marriage.
He has made me such a better person than I was when I met him though. I think about that constantly.
Tbf this is the first time I’ve seen Jackson’s name abbreviated like that. It took me a second to get hers. But I feel like ACB is fairly common. Then again, maybe her name just jumps out at me immediately because I have a special hatred in my heart for women who turn against women. Fuckin’ bitch.
Either way, I wasn’t agreeing or disagreeing with the sentiment of politicians using initials for their names or not, just stating whose initials they were.

So, I do brush my teeth at least daily (I shoot for twice, but I’m not going to pretend that always happens), and I’ve recently started flossing once daily (recently as in, it was my New Years resolution).
I’ve only had cavities twice in my life - once when I spent 2 years living in Okinawa, and once when I got back from a deployment where we were advised to only drink bottled water.
No other adjustments to my routine. The only thing I can chalk it up to is the lack of fluoride in both instances. And like I said, I’m not someone who takes immaculate care of my teeth.
Edit: Purely anecdotal experience, obviously, I just really couldn’t come up with an alternative answer 🤷♀️
