I blame lawmakers, corporations are gonna do what they do and sue everyone for everything. The courts have taken the sides of corporations over people and it’s clear. We can’t change how capitalist corporations work but we can start making noise to lawmakers about changing laws to favour smaller devs

I dunno if it’s just cause I’m older, but sex scenes in games and movies seem so unnecessary, what are they even there for? I was playing cyberpunk and nudity isnt a big deal but why were those sexually explicit ads necessary to the story?

Thankfully they’re learning this and we get movies that are starting to look less like plastic cgi and are using painted textures and drawn in motion blur like in k pop demon hunters which gives the movies more character and makes them look like a mix of the old and the new

Lemmy is pretty much there now. Been banned from a few and you either get back a hostile explanation or none at all. Hurt feelings gets you banned. IMO Lemmy shouldn’t have a ban option for mods, let the downvotes do the talking
