Value is correct in this instance, I think.
The number of shares and the price people are willing to pay for those shares is how “value” is calculated, I think.
In contrast, “wealth” would be how much money they have in the bank.

Why not just have both a male and female voice, and ideally one that’s as neutral as possible?
Fingers crossed the effects mentioned in the Chronos fight fixes an issue I had the other day - I was having a really good run with a strong build, but after the transition to phase 2 I was stuck in slow motion and stood no chance.
I’s often just carnal desire which results in the death of something to the tune of ~80 billion (with a “B”) animals every year that didn’t really need to be slaughtered.
I’m genuinely curious: what’s the vegans’ answer to the question of “what happens to the cattle and other livestock if everyone on the planet turned vegan tomorrow?”. It’s not like they can just be let loose…
Realistically the amount of livestock is not sustainable and they’d need to be culled in gargantuan numbers so that they don’t go from a “managed” ecological disaster to an “out of control” ecological disaster. And then you get the slaughter without the benefit of feeding billions of hungry people.
That was very quick! I expected the technical test to go on much longer than that!
Now it’ll be the dilemma of “do I buy it in early access knowing that it’ll be only a fraction of the content, or do I wait for 1.0?”
The “M” would be for mezzanine, which is usually either a floor that’s small or at an intermediate height between main floors.
That’s a fair point. Maybe it comes down to “is this something that you expect should have been in the game to begin with, or is it something extra that the Devs have added over and beyond?”.
Definitely a very broad term to the point of near-meaninglessness though.
Congratulations to all the winners - they’re all very well deserved! No surprises here (though very pleased) to see BG3 clean house.
It’s very unfortunate for Insomniac that SM2 didn’t get any wins, but it goes to show how crazy good this year has been for gamers!
I think there’s a distinction - I would consider an “update” with new content to be something minor (such as BG3’s recent epilogue content). “Free DLC” to me is a much more hefty addition, such as the Godmaster DLC for Hollow Knight.
(Disclaimer: I’ve not watched this trailer since I’m at work)
They want everyone to buy Payday 3 to make it seem like less of a flop, so they have no reason to discount old content.
I think it’s quite telling that Starfield only showed up once, despite being one of the most hyped games of the year. Skyrim and Fallout 3 were both strong GOTY, IIRC, so to me it feels like Bethesda have lost their way.
So many strong games here! I’m a little biased since I’ve not played many of these, but I’m hoping BG3 cleans house.
It’s basically the Google Effect, with how no one gets excited about their new products these days for much the same reason.
If you’re halfway through act 2 I wouldn’t worry about that. I think I spent as much time in act 3 as in acts 1 & 2 combined!
“Tinder Select Ultra Plus” tier membership, I’m guessing.
At a guess, it’s a correlation between the Empire having it’s head in the sand about it’s gradual collapse, and the enshittification of Reddit over the trust thermocline.
Edit: sorry, I thought you said you were familiar with the source. In Foundation there’s a Galactic Empire which culturally and technologically stagnates to the point that the outer provinces break away, leading to the slow but inevitable collapse of the Empire. A breakaway faction (the Foundation) seeks to preserve the knowledge and technology of the Empire to reduce the duration of “barbarism” until a new Empire can form.
My friends who grew up outside Oz find it weird that to me “it ain’t Christmas unless it’s scorching hot”. To me the idea of having a cold Christmas is the odd one.
