Oh that’s kinda cool in its own right. Two birds and all
Don’t forget the very well light, 4k quality picture of their anus that they do not properly clean
There is a movement to bring back the thorn. It’s actually pretty popular among English reformists. Personally, I’m in favor, but I generally don’t use it outside of certain communities, or when joking or making a point. Using it ‘in the wild’ is normally an attempt at normalizing it’s use. Personally, I’m on board, just not brave enough to be the odd one out. Especially since I’m also in favor of eth, eng, and interrobang (which I do use in the wild.). It’d make my writing too difficult for others to read it I included all of those in a normal post.
Yeah, you’re pretty out of option for an older iron on patch. Curved needles are your best bet if you’re comfortable using them. I hate using them personally, another reason I’ll unstitch and hand sew it back together. I’ve got a machine to do some of the heavy lifting, though
Iron on patches are your friend for areas like this. Curved needles as someone else suggested also work.
But because I hate my hands, I almost always just unstitch the pocket and lining, sew the patches on, and then reconstruct the pocket and lining. Probably don’t do this, I get hyper fixated on projects and do things the long way round.
That’s one of the reasons I didn’t comment on the post itself, and only replied to another person. Because I can’t quite tell which way OP was leaning on that, and I didn’t want to be uncharitable.
I’m a communist. I don’t mean to say I’m here because of the leftist population (though, that is nice sometimes, but as in any lefty heavy place there’s infighting and bullshit), but rather I have certain values that guide my decision making process, and one of them is not supporting massive corporations and shitty services when possible. Lemmy is an alternative to reddit that doesn’t benefit the same class of people as reddit, while actively benefiting the people who actually use it.
I feel like ever since the term shifted from “gay liberation” to “gay pride” it has hindered the movement in a lot of ways. Liberation tells you what this is about, pride tells you… You’re proud? Good for you. Lots of people are proud, but not all people need liberation (or, at least, not everyone thinks they need it).
I vote we go back to calling it Liberation, and instead of bickering over why people are at the queer event and not a workers event, we start organizing monthly or bimonthly events, a queer/LGBT liberation event, a women’s liberation event, a worker’s liberation event, Hispanic Liberation event… Let’s pepper the calendar with parties and parades and protests while drilling into people’s minds that we are all deserving of respect, autonomy, and liberation.
Not sure how well I said all that. I’m about 5 boozy horchatas in, and I hate to do the “as a gay man” thing, but I feel like I should mention I am, in fact, a gay, and I quite enjoy pride and what it stands for
I thought so! When I saw this my first thought was “wait, isn’t that the one I used to use several years ago?”
Yeah, it is. Ended up not being compatible on a new phone is why I switched, I think…forgot about it after.
When you say export, is there a tool for that for, like, mass exporting your subs? Or do I have to manually search each one and sub again?
I ask because I’ve been meaning to switch to my alt, but I made a point of subbing to as many communities as possible to make Lemmy more fun to use for me, and good lord, it’s a lot to do.

Beautiful doxies. I have 3, they’re such amazing creatures.
Wasabee. Pronounced the same as wasabi. The logo can be a little bee carrying a backpack delivering the sushi. Wasabi is pretty concretely linked to sushi, spicy things are common/catchy app names, and I’m too lazy to look up registration stuff, but the websites aren’t active at least.
They’re tired and would like to take a nap. Do the right thing and make them a sandwich. Getting milked is exhausting, especially if it’s a power play thing with post milking overstim.
Our family’s was “freckle past a hair and time to get a watch”
You say this, but you’ve never seen me try to math
I started using Linux in 2008. A friend of mine on an old forum showed me wubi and helped me get set up. When he went AWOL and stopped posting, I went on some Ubuntu forum and asked for help with a problem I was having (WiFi had stopped working randomly). Those people tore me apart and spit on my bloodied corpse. It was brutal. Apparently, I was a disgusting moron for using wubi instead of replacing windows (on my netbook with no disc drive) entirely. It was insane. I’ve since discovered that I’d just found a particularly toxic group by chance, and that most of the community is actually very kind. But at the time, it was genuinely hurtful. I not only stopped asking for help for a long time, I stopped learning about Linux and computers in general because I felt like it was something I’d never understand, I was clearly too stupid to get it.
This. Exactly this. I’m dying to know.
I’m a tech moron, but I’ve been on Linux of and on since like 07ish. Full time since 2015ish. Started with Ubuntu way back when, and I’ve jumped around from distro to distro. I’ve tried Manjaro, mint, opensuse… God, I can’t even tell you what else. I once installed that Miley Cyrus Linux and ran it for like a week as a gag. But from 2015 onward when I went full time I’ve basically just been in Fedora (including silverblue and Bazzite). I’ve got Ubuntu running on a mini PC I’m using to set up a server for jellyfin and a few other things. But as far as my daily driver goes, it’s almost always fedora. I just fucking love it.
But bear in mind here, I’m a pretty surface level user, so what I love is actually Gnome. Lol
