  • Happens a lot with car rke fobs, I usually have to replace the housings and buttons all together for a permanent fix. I tried the super glue and aluminum foil method and it temporarily works. Nothing I used to attach the aluminum to the worn button pad really results in a long term fix though (super glue, silicone, epoxy, hot glue). Is this a better solution?

  • Oh that’s fair still recommend it for its price though and don’t even get me started on liquid fueled lighters lmao. Don’t get me wrong I’m sure peanut lighters are OK so are zippos in the winter but dang if the area you live at gets any heat whatsoever it just evaporates after a while regardless of gaskets and whatnot (mostly via the wick). Such a frustration when you need it. I switched out my daily zippo for the butane insert for that exact reason and been loving it

  • Hehe I see what you did there. Reminds me of my uncle fergus. He was a rather interesting fella some might even say strange. Back in the year, oh I don’t know, 1987. I know it was 1987 since I remember it being a rather cold summer that year and my glasses broke as well. Had to take it to get repaired in a small shop, this was wayyy before you could do it in malls and whatnot. Anywho, old uncle Fergus sure would ramble on and on till the cows came home, that was one of his favorite sayings. What does that even mean “when the cows come home?” Maybe it has to do something with ranch life but not sure.
