12·1 year agoI finally bit the bullet and switched from Chrome to Firefox last night after they flagged my adblock for YouTube as malware and forcefully disabled it. Fuck that noise.

7·1 year agoI got permabanned for repeating a meme from the Fark days, yet there are posts of the exact same thing from 12+ years ago that are still up with no issue. Even noting that when I appealed the ban I got the canned “we totally reviewed it, fuck you lol” response.
The only other time I had an issue was when I got a three day suspension for upvoting a Ghislaine Maxwell related post.

Good choice. I live in the rural midwest and the only thing that’ll reach (even though we’re in the flatlands) is a WISP we pay $170 a month for 12/6. No data caps, but it’s slow as shit. At least it’s not satellite so we can still play games online fairly reliably but damn.
