We are going to get less than ideal candidates until the voting system changes. I think it might be the one point of agreement with most voters in this country that we need a new voting system because first past the post isn’t working well.
We certainly aren’t going to try a risky move like getting a candidate other than Biden elected. It’s way too late to try to get the name recognition going. People know Biden, they know Trump. You could potentially split the vote which gives Trump the automatic win.
It just needs to not be Trump at this point. Biden isn’t a touchdown, he’s a punt with the hopes that we can do better next time.
How can you organize voters with a district like the Texas 33rd?

It should be a moderately progressive income tax. That is to say the lowest earning bracket should pay nothing as a percentage of their income, the next bracket should pay a little bit, the next bracket a little higher % of their income, all the way up to billionaires who should be taxed out of billionaire status. I can certainly afford to pay a higher % of my income to taxes than someone who isn’t sure where their next meal is coming from, but my bosses and their bosses, and the people who own the building should be paying way more on their income than me. Also we need to get rid of the shenanigans that allows the ultra wealthy to avoid income tax altogether through loans and what not.
This is the same economic genius that said if the US wanted to default on the national debt, we could and then we could just renegotiate what we owed like some chump who bankrupted their own casino.

I agree, I don’t think vigilante mob justice is the way to go. If the rule of law stops working for the people, they’ll find another way, that’s all I’m saying. The SCOTUS should do the right thing, appropriate assets should be seized for damages and distributed to those affected.

What if you’ve already been found guilty of rape?
Police are allowed to point weapons at you and not expect return fire. It’s not considered self defense if you return fire even if the police burst into your home in the middle of the night and don’t announce themselves. 2nd amendment rights are simply an advertisement for the gun industry to sell more weapons and ammunition and has nothing to do with self defense especially from the state.
