I don’t think ads showing something related to what I’m looking for are bad in and if themselves. I want to find related content, the problem is that these are often not in any way related to what I’m looking for. It’s just a list of who paid to be listed there.

That makes sense. I struggled to sign up on other instances with their need for me to write a paragraph about my intents with their instance. Lemmy.world was the only one with a smooth signup process for me.

So aside from lag, it’s still got a few fit & finish issues too. I’ll keep checking it though because i do like the interface.
I still have it installed on my phone but have found it to be quite laggy when scrolling content so i don’t use it much. I keep checking every so often in hopes that clears up though…
