If there’s talk of getting rid of birth control, I’m asking my endometriosis specialist for a hysterectomy. I cannot survive without my birth control. My periods are too heavy and painful for me to function while they’re going on. My specialist is really cool, so she can probably get it done. I will go into debt for it if I have to.

I had a sign in my yard that said “support trans kids” someone peeled into my driveway, leaving huge ruts in the gravel/mud, and stole the sign one day when I wasn’t home. That’s when I decided to not voice my opinion openly like that anymore.
I meant being bothered as in strangers harassing me for my beliefs lol. I live in a grossly red part of my state and I keep a low profile out of what I feel is necessity
I will never express my opinions in places where I can be easily identified unless I am among people I know and trust. I will vote and keep my leftist ideology to myself amongst strangers irl. I rather like living without being bothered.
Part of my job is keeping all of the endpoints my work manages up to date with patch compliance. I’ve had to create exceptions for the past two windows 11 updates because they won’t run on most machines for no reason. It’s been a pain in the ass. I can’t just add the machines to the exception list without doing basic troubleshooting because “procedure” and I’ve spent so much time doing absolutely unnecessary shit.

I got jumped by 3 raccoons last year. Got scratched and had to get rabies shots. I leave a fresh duck egg out every night and the raccoons leave me and my trash alone now. I can’t imagine trying to strike a deal with 100 of the fuckers.

In senior year, my school district had 30+ bomb threats in one year. Every time we’d hear the loudspeaker ring, we’d just start grabbing our shit. They stopped telling people about them after a while because evacuating the kids once a week was a shitshow. Every threat was linked to a handful of kids who wanted attention or wanted to get out of tests/homework. I was out sick on the day the feds showed up and started arresting kids.

You right. Just scheduled a hysterectomy consult with my specialist. She’s one of the few specialists in my state who will tie a woman’s tubes with no questions asked. I’m just hoping we can convince my insurance this is medically necessary, but I’ll go into debt if it ensures I won’t ever get a period again and my reproductive organs won’t wreck me. I literally faint from blood loss when on my period and the pain is so bad I can hardly see. Not to mention the wicked ovarian cysts and endometrial growths my body loves to create.
