Fellow Floridian here. I appreciate what I’ve learned in school, but it feels like they were preparing us for an ideal world that never existed. Things are especially bleak here in Florida with the affordability crisis, the environmental crisis, and the political crisis.
Same. I’ve been struggling with math ever since elementary school. I’ve flunked algebra in middle school and high school. Geometry was even worse for me.
Honestly good. There are plenty of used and pre-owned vehicles that just need minor repairs or tune-ups. I drive a used 2015 Chevy Spark, financed it back in 2022 and it’s nearly paid off. My car only needed a new battery, new tires, and an oil change. My mom on the other hand financed a new luxury Acura RDX back in 2018 as an upgrade from her 2006 Honda CRV, she’s still making payments to this day. I asked why she didn’t get a newer Honda CRV and she said that she didn’t want the same vehicle as a McDonald’s worker.
I’m happy to be a part of that demographic. My upbringing only contributed to my irreligiosity.
For me it’s mostly related to my autism among other factors.
Older gen z here, I definitely fall into that category. Many factors have contributed to it.
I remember when a lady tried to scam me into an MLM at a job fair I attended several years ago.
It didn’t immediately click with me when I joined that ML meant Marxist Leninist even I used to be one.
I drive a 2015 Chevy Spark, the gas version. The ev version was discontinued in 2016, the gas version was discontinued in 2022. The Chevy Sonic, a similar, but slightly larger model was discontinued in 2020. The Chevy Bolt, an ev and larger, but still compact model and a successor to the Spark and Sonic was discontinued this year. It’s become apparent that most Americans do not like small cars. I don’t think much can be done to make small cars likable here, I’d love to be able to drive a car like the Honda E, but there’s no market for it here.
Floridian here. My mom currently has Citizenship Insurance. Her rates will increase by about 11.5% by the end of the year.
