I won’t believe paying fast workers a liveable wage necessitates the rise in cost unless there’s hard data behind that. Sure, it’s likely a necessity to continue profit growth quarter after quarter, but I’d wager they’re able to continue making massive profits even with having to pay their staff like they’re humans.
I agree with you about fast food though. We’ll be better off without them. Fuck em.
Hey, I can edit too: You never said gross prior to your edit, you were talking about consumer costs. I’m still not yet a believer, but I Iove you :)
I look forward to waiting a few months after release to see if it’s complete and worth buying.
Hey now, it’s hard to find the right spot sometimes ;)
At the very least I’d try to clean up that fuzzy condition on behavior to anticipate any bad or inconsistent data entry.
WHERE UPPER(TRIM(behavior)) = ‘NICE’
Depending on the possible values in behavior, adding a wildcard or two might be useful but would need to know more about that field to be certain. Personally I’d rather see if there was a methodology using code values or existing indicators instead of a string, but that’s often just wishful thinking.
Edit: Also, why dafuq we doing a select all? What is this, intro to compsci? List out the values you need, ya heathen ;)
(This is my favorite Xmas meme lol)
Trip to FedEx the handful of times a year I need to print has served me well for years.

Me: I’m bored
Bethesda: No you’re not.
Me: Oh
One of the more recent ones was the ending of A Plaguetale: Requiem. Amicia and Hugo stay near and dear.
Not sure Cyberpunk has actually made me cry but there’s been more than a couple moments where I was right there emotionally.
I mean, the best thing about Starfield for me was that watching the trailer inspired me to fire up No Man’s Sky again after a couple years away.
But I guess sensational headlines get more clicks.
It’s to help improve the user experience right? …right?
Yeah, if you’ve never stepped foot in the Diablo world don’t bother. I had a good time with the D4 campaign, I actually think that part shines but it’s maybe 30 hours of gameplay at best, even if you take a few detours along the way. Pretty steep price to game ratio.
Are they trying to nuke their game and community? Cause at this point, you gotta wonder if it’s intentional.
Isn’t the GDP itself a roll-up of dozens or hundreds of other metrics, making it nigh impossible to game? Gaming the metric is the problematic part of identifying metrics to track performance being referred to.
It seems so odd too because if I didn’t know better, I’d assume “Full or Top Grain” was lower quality than “Genuine Leather” just by how the phrases sound.
Elden Ring. I decided to go into the DLC with a new character and getting him setup so he’s ready to jump in. Gathering smithing stones and other mats, killing Radahn and Mohg, and getting some weapons whenever I finally decide what build I want to start with. Put a couple hours in so far and really enjoying it.
