It’s well worth it, especially with all the ways to play it now
It’s well worth it, especially with all the ways to play it now
It really does, but it also looks really good imo
I’ll have to check it out because one of my favorite things to do is pelt zombies with a car and watch them flop over (said the completely sane man)
I’ve been playing on SpaghettiKart. I usually link to it when i play the PC version but i forgot this time
It might be 150CC Mirror lol. I knew the game had one extra mode but couldn’t remember which one it was. My first thought was Mirror mode but then i thought of the jump in DK’s Jungle Parkway and went “No way they’d change the map for mirror mode on the N64” and assumed it was 200 CC
Me neither. When i started it was just me dropping the Screenshot and dipping, i’m much happier with these longer posts though. I’ve thought about changing the title a few times top reflect it and others have suggested it, but at this point i think it’s too late for that
I did! Day 1 in fact. It was a lot of fun. I can’t wait for it to come to multiplayer so me and my friend can go to Louisville and make a base in one of the Skyscrapers they showed off
The customization is great. It really lets you basically design your own apocalypse to how you want
As long as some Sheriff from Georgia doesn’t show up to my community i’ll be safe lol
It will be nice to have more people on though. I love zomboid but the more people to make it feel like an apocalypse the better. I can’t wait for them to add NPCs to the game just to help with that
Every once and a while Cataclysm DDA will show up online and i’ll think “I need to try it”, but never do. I know zomboid references it so i really should pick it up sometime
Me too. I know i’ve said this so many times in the past so i probably sound like a broken record, But i genuinely wasn’t expecting to make it this long. Most things that i’m consistent about don’t last for more than a month. A few months at most
That’s the plan. I’m going to see how far i can go!
I adore how Zomboid is very grounded like that. It feels like it purposefully avoids giving the player a power fantasy. Or more accurately I’d say it tries to deceive the player by making them think they’re powerful but then rips it away by throwing something at them. It’s really addicting, I have to imagine it’s not for everyone though
MO: Astray sounds familiar. I wonder if I picked up a Bundle with it in it too. I’ll have to look into it though because 90% of my Humble library is unplayed
Basically, me and my friend work together though so generally he dies when I die. I’m always the main Defense and Engineering guy and he’s like the group Farmer
It was one of those things where I can tell there was a lot of love and care put into it, but I just personally couldn’t get into it. I have a copy of the Soundtrack from a friend though that they didn’t want for some reason so I can admit it’s really good
That’s basically what it was like, except with a generic suburban dad lol. We did it with 4 whole floors and somehow only ran out of Shotgun shells on the last floor
We’ll probably be scavenging Metal Sheets and Planks all day the next time we play. It’ll be worth it though for the most egregious base for 2 people ever
Zomboid is very much like that. You can kind of develop a 6th sense as too what buildings are dangerous with how the game loves to fuck the player over (in a good way). It’s a fun experience all around though
Is their controller support? I’m one of those weirdos who usually plays with controllers so it’s definitely something i look into for each game
