Open Tracks allows exporting in either KMZ (default), KML or GPX format. Go to Settings, tap on “Import and Export” and there look, towards the end, for the entry “Export/sharing file format”.

Wanted to say the same: the typo made the comment better. There has to be a community for this.
MP3Tag sounds cool, but there’s no Linux version it seems :(
$1 would be overpriced
Basically the same thing I replied to this same post shared on privacy@lemmy.ml. This 2.5 years old video proves nothing, I don’t trust Facebook nor Meta, but this is a poor quality post.
I don’t believe the small phone gang is small, we just have one option: a pretty expensive iPhone mini.
I want a small phone but not an iPhone, I have no option therefore manufactures assume I want a humongous phone. That’s flawed logic.
I want a smaller smartphone but not an iPhone. It’s sad that Apple is the only manufacturer still producing reasonable sized phones. Small phone gang unite and push for other manufacturers to follow Apple on this one!
The fact that you can use bangs in DDG is so powerful that I don’t understand why not more people use it as their main search engine. The few times when it’s not good enough just add the !g after your search (it doesn’t even need to be before) and get redirected to Google.
Who talked about banning cars? Don’t put words in my mouth and don’t be so rude.
Cars are a source of different problems: pollution, traffic congestion, lack of space in cities due to parking needs… and accidents too, yes. All of these issues can be solved with his public transport, and 95% car rides can be replaced by public transport (unless I’m transporting the furniture I just bought back to my house).
There’s no need to go live in a padded cell (although if you wish to, be my guest), just stop whining online and look for solutions instead.
No, no, you’re right there. Cars are a problem too. But that’s a different topic, we’re talking guns now.
Sorry, I don’t use Android Auto so I don’t know about this feature. You could check on their GitHub page and even open an issue if there is no support.
I am sorry to hear that. I don’t personally use Android Auto, so that’s a situation I’m not familiar with. I am also sorry to see people downvoting your comment just because you report a bad experience, that doesn’t help anyone.
I would recommend opening an issue about it on the project page in GitHub. Another advantage of FOSS apps is that developers are usually easer to reach for feedback and support, although I must say I don’t have experience with the AntennaPod developers.
Good news: you never needed Google Podcasts to begin with. Antenna Pod is a Free Open Source app that won’t track your every move and just works.
Yes, I feel like all these Big Tech companies changed the parent company name (Facebook -> Meta, Google -> Alphabet) to confuse end users when they read news about how they harvest our data don’t respect our privacy: the news talk about a big company spying on users, users know a few app names and most don’t link both together
I love Organic Maps, it is clean, simple, and works for 95% of my needs. The rest of the times I resort to OsmAnd, which is heavier and more complicated but has many more options.
The house number search can be tricky with OpenStreetMap based apps, unfortunatey, but still better than using Google, in my opinion.
I used Magic Earth in the past, but it has some wrong information in my city (an important road is marked as closed and it calculates long detours) which is not coming from OpenStreetMap, so I personally don’t trust it.
It’s time for Lou Reed’s Metal Machine Music to shine.
Good bot!
It would be great, but a big problem that I see with a new, completely different OS is… the apps.
If a new OS not based on Android launches tomorrow, it will have no 3rd party apps, and it will be very hard to catch momentum without WhatsApp, Youtube, Netflix, Spotify, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter X (🙄), Uber… all of those apps that most people use their phone for 90% of the time.
I’m going to paste here the comment I wrote on another post about this same issue:
Organic Maps and OsmAnd are not adding ads during navigation. Nor “promoted pins”. Nor ads when browsing the map. Nor tracking your every move.
Seriously, give them a try. And remember that, if the maps are lacking information, you are free (and encouraged) to improve them on OpenStreetMap.
