I cycle between Thunder, Summit and Sync, they all have similar vibes.
Equating Nazi symbolism with Soviet ones just feels like such a weird thing to do, there’s a reason Nazi symbols are banned in several (if not a majority) of European countries, but is not the case at all when it comes to soviet symbols. I think it’s specially disappointing because the image that was originally shared was a reference to the “spectre” line in the communist manifesto. The hammer and sickle symbol has a long history that supersedes the history of the Soviet Union as a state, even my “third-world country” in Latin America (I’m sure you can see in the logs where I’m posting from) has a history of using the symbol for liberatory causes.
I thought Jerboa had a cached version of the frontpage and had to refresh because of how fast it loaded the first time.
Not sure if this is related to the infra upgrade, but my earlier issue with not seeing all the posts in the meta community is now fixed.
That seems fair, thanks for expanding on it.
Looking at my reddit profile, I have talked about where content could be found, what are the recommended VPNs for P2P, what seedbox providers are trustworthy, and discussed software solutions for piracy. Would that count as “facilitating distribution”? (which sounds a bit ambiguous).
Would me posting about piracy in a different instance (an illegal activity in most jurisdictions) constitute a violation of the “illegal content” policy?
