wefwef.app will continue working

I hope Lemmy at least adds the ability to follow other lemmings so their posts appear in the feed.
Though, then I don’t see why it wouldn’t work with mastodon users too, since they just seem to be treated as regular lemmings in their profile and all, aside from the tagging.
You should post about Memmy, which is on the appstore already
Post/comment about Lemmy, Memmy, wefwef, Sync, and Boost if you do. That’s how people come over
We’ll just be back where we started then, but now alot more people would know about the fediverse and could switch to Mastodon if/when Threads goes downhill
Doesn’t seem like a bad deal to me tbh; I’ll be able to follow some artists I like on Threads through the comfort of Mastodon in the meantime
I doubt most current mastodon users would want to use a Facebook product lol
A colorful sky to represent the fediverse (like the current wefwwef icon’s background) might look cool too!
The community switcher is a godsend! Makes browsing much smoother!
That just harms us, no? We can’t see their content but they can see ours.
Very needed feature, in both clients and lemmy itself.
Wefwef while waiting for sync and boost; might actually keep using wefwef though if it keeps improving at this rate. Let’s see.

The text inside the [ ] is alt text for those who can’t see the image or otherwise need it, you can leave it empty though if you want
You can’t upload images in comments directly or see them yet in wefwef though
That quality will be splintered into multiple different communities with the current setup
Users won’t know what the biggest instances are though if they can’t see the true user counts. People have to go to lemmyverse.net for that right now, which is very anti-ux. This needs to be integrated into lemmy itself
It looks great, but… yeah that’s a bit too on the nose imo
It’s definitely possible at least, some solutions are suggested in this github issue
This needs to be integrated into Lemmy asap; really hurts discoverability and makes comms look way smaller than they are to new users.
This, instance migration, and assigning new users to good general instances like lemm.ee or vlemmy.net upon registration (letting them change it of course) so they don’t need to know about instances would go a long way to being user friendly.
It looks like it needs a hug

I love the colors though! It really pops out and is pleasant to look at!
