I feel like people just buy this stuff to collect and sit on their shelves.
Everything is fine. Continue to consume. Spend money you don’t have to impress people you don’t know. It’s fun.

Seeing how the world of Warcraft is twenty years old now I believe wow classic counts as retro. I originally bought the game in 2004. Played until around 2010. Just recently subbed for classic wow. I’m a mage, level 34. It’s been about three weeks now. I still love this game.
Social media people are petty
You’re correct. I’ve watched many live speed runners mention that they only know how to speed run the game because they started playing the game with the intention of speed running it to begin with.
33·7 months agoFF7 came out at the perfect time and it really redefined RPGs in the USA. I know it exposed me to this kind of gameplay and genre that I had never experienced before. Unless you count some of the NES RPGs. Those never captivated attention like FF7 did.
