It’s just missing everything from above the shoulders.
I know I am normally recognizable, but currently if someone doesn’t have display names or avatars visible they probably won’t know who I am on this account since it’s my old username, from Reddit.
Having a pfp greatly increases my recognition of other users. So you’re already proving more recognizable than most users who have none.
I feel I have a better understanding of written words than film. All my education taught was how to recognize things in literature; not any kind of visual medium. If a director of a movie uses a subtle visual element as a metaphor, I am probably not going to recognize it as such, compared to a similar metaphor used in a book, through text.
From Steam’s main interface:
Games>Add a non-steam game to my library
Point it at the executable you want to add (you can select multiple programs from the big list if it automatically shows up, or manually look for it from the button at the bottom)
Boom. It’s on Steam now. You can then go to SteamGridDB and get art assets to make it look nicer than a plain gray rectangle with the default font (right click the various elements and select “manage>custom artwork.”)
Addendum: if you want to do this for VR games, you also will want to go into the options (right click, properties) and toggle “show in VR library.”
Surely they would have heard the euphemism for taking a shit?
“I gotta drop the Cleveland Browns off at the Super Bowl.”
Just don’t read it again in the morning. 🤷🏻♂️

I really doubt you do not have a OneDrive folder at all, since the default My Documents location is
C:\users\<user>\OneDrive\MyDocuments
Regardless. Even if you completely skip the OneDrive shit at install.
I sit on my own nuts a lot more the older I get. 😬
Instead of “it hurt very much” you can say “it hurt a fuckton.”
“My fantasy is to be with Statler and Waldorf at the same time.”
I don’t even have a login for it, let alone try to use it. What it has done, however, has made itself the standard “My Documents” folder in the user profile. I am not using it for anything, I have that all on a totally separate drive and mostly everything correctly points to the new destination I have for My Documents, My Games, My Videos, etc.
However, I can not get the Quick Links on the left side of an explorer window to stick to the new destination. It keeps reverting back to the OneDrive folder within the user folder so using them just sends me to an empty folder.
I want actual AI, and not even necessarily for anything other than answering the question of “can we make a sentient being that isn’t human?”
What is being sold as AI isn’t anything cool, or special, or even super useful outside of extremely specific tasks that are certainly not things that can be sold to the general public.
This is one thing I still can’t seem to rid myself of with Windows 10. Is there something in the Windows 10 Pro group policy thing I can do to send OneDrive back to hell from whence it came? I’ve only managed to get my files to save to a directory not controlled by it, however the quick links to media folders still point to the one drive folder even after manually changing them numerous times.
Oh man, people ain’t paying back their fast food burger loans?
That’s just gonna happen naturally if you’re doing it right. Why not just actually boo them? 🤷🏻♂️
“Boo! Boo I say! That’s not how you suck dick, you amateur!”
All the new hype about a possible HL3 coming soon™ are more than likely a sequel to Alyx, considering it also coincides with leaks, trademarks and other info about an incoming new VR setup from Valve and/or a new Steam Deck.
It could be a straight up new VR game, or, hell, it could be doing something to show off a new idea in the handheld space now that I am really thinking about it. Maybe the new Steam Deck will have gnarly new gyroscopic motion tech or something they wanna show off.
They’ve been pretty adamant about not making a sequel for the sake of a sequel; if they have nothing they think is super cool to show off, they’re not doing it. So the likely true rumors about them doing something is still exciting to me, even if it’s not HL3 itself.
Find someone you know who smokes weed and ask them to hook you up with a dealer. Become friends with them. Smoke at their house.
That’s how it worked for me, when I was a teenager, anyway.
