You didn’t mention if you were joining an existing instance or hosting your own. That will determine whether your current PC is adequate or not.

oh i forgot to mention that i was thinking of finding a gaming instance or a genral instance to join becasue i lack the hardware to host an instance and idk how that hosting works.

i want to do is as a hobby or a goal if possible but im worried i might fail my goal, such as starting a peertube channle. at the moment i dont have to many goal and i thought peertube might help a little, if that makes sense.

why did i not think of that, do you recommend an os for a nas also what can i put ona nas if it dosent thave a dvd player? ive been wanting to try ai things and engine sof sorts but idk if that will even run.

also i guess im currently using the laptop to learn linux.
