I don’t think hk is that demanding tbh.
If you are going to play it then you need to complete the 2D indie game trifecta with Celeste and Rain World though

this is such a great app, thank you for forking it! I’ve had a flawless experience so far (except the other comment loading issue, but pretty sure thats a 0.18.4 issue not infinity)
imagine being able to talk about how Reddit is down on reddit, the fediverse is literally black magic
I usually just link to sh.itjust.works because I like the admin there and think he’s cool
also it’s not too big like lemmy world
Also I think it’s better to subtly convert redditors to lemmies by posting content from lemmy, that way they’ll discover it themselves
that’s not what I meant, I was joking about how english teachers seemingly give you free marks when you mention feminism or patriarchy
english teachers giving you marks whenever you mention feminism:
it really annoys me that apple doesn’t allow non safari browsers, it’s the one thing stopping me from using my beautiful iPhone 5s as my main phone
I know, I just found out about it recently because it’s made by the same devs as sponsorblock
Try out different linux distros / desktop environments in virtual machines and find out which ones you like the most. I spent about a month doing this, until I found kde neon.
Know that you are going to break stuff, and don’t be afraid of it. Even if you are a tech savy Windows user (as i was), Linux will be a new thing for you and you’ll not know the nuances. I broke my installs a bunch of times because of things like nvidia drivers, but I was running Linux in virtual machines so I just started over from scratch. Breaking things makes you learn the fastest imo, so don’t be scared of it.
Have fun. Linux is going to give you some frustrations, so it’s important that you are using Linux because you want to so you can keep moving forward.

x11 logo looks better tbh
literally a purposed organism
I wouldn’t bother with world honestly, it’s the “main” instance now so it gets targeted a lot, I prefer sh.itjust.works for that reason.
it’s the amount of comments on bot posts that is the problem. I go to news communities on lemmy/reddit too see articles and people’s reactions to those articles. If I just wanted to read news, I would go to my news aggregator, not Lemmy.
but I want to follow new. It’s how I find niche communities here, and because there was a lot of botting on a community, I had to block the entire community.
I come to lemmy because I want to interact with humans. If I wanted to read random articles, I’ll go to my bookmarked blogs.

god that’s terrifying
Rivals of Aether is like a PC smash brothers knockoff but it’s actually really fun and has a lot of mods for community made characters. I really recommend it.
maybe I’m not cultured enough, but I find rivals more fun than smash
