You specifically, probably wouldn’t. But this opens up avenues for people who do not (or cannot) buy a console for whatever reason but have a smartphone.
Windows has been alternating between good and crap for decades. ME, crap. XP, good. Vista, crap. 7, good. 8/8.1, crap. 10, good…ish. 11, steaming feces. 12 will probably be at least half decent.

What’s a viable alternative? Bing seems to be just as rah rah AI as Google, DDG gives me oranges if I search for apples… if there is an actually useful search engine out there that isn’t actively in the process of becoming enshittified, I would absolutely love to know.
Pretty much. But publicly MSG still has that “ooo scary and harmful” stigma to it. It’s no more harmful than salt or sugar, but some weird racism against Chinese immigrants in the 40s created that stigma.
My solution to making home cooking taste better than fast food was buying a fat sack of MSG and using it in everything. Truly it’s the king of flavor.

Good thing Ubuntu 24.04 LTS comes out tomorrow. I’ll be doing a reinstall on my machine and sticking with it until the next LTS release in two years.
The Game Boy line of handheld consoles revolutionized the gaming industry and were fascinating devices, even if they had some absolutely bizarre models and accessories at times. Did you know there existed (but was never used) a Game Boy Color accessory used to anesthetize children before surgery? True story.
