I’m a bit in the same situation. I can a lot with my bike but it’s dangerous at times, especially with my kids in the back. People need to go to places and unfortunately, everything we built for the last 70years were almost just for cars.

I agree. If your goal is to give birth, it feels like the fetus becomes a person. Otherwise, 20 to 24weeks, in my opinion, is the reasonable time a fetus could become a person as it is in that period that the conscious experience starts to appear.

It is possible. As long as the protocol allows sending bytes of data controlled by the user which XMPP allows.

You would basically wrap http with XMPP. You need a server that would understand XMPP, read the payload, create the http request, do the request for you, wrap the response with XMPP and send it back to you.

You can do that with DNS as well which would bypass probably everything. However, your bandwidth wouldn’t be great.

I get what you’re saying. I’m not sure if it’s something that is fixable giving that we participate in a public forum. Maybe the federation isn’t a great idea after all, or maybe we overthink it. I don’t know.

They will know the user but not the person in real life. Even if you know that my user is more conservative on some points or more liberal on others, how can you use that for nefarious action ? Unless you know where I live and who I am, the data is useless.
