Please try the 4 bit quantisations of the models. They work a bunch faster while eating less RAM.
Generally you want to use 7B or 8B models on the CPU, since everything above will be hellishly slugish.
No caustics? :<
Your scene looks really good!
Can you share how you populated the grass plane with foliage?
How did you create the textures and displacement on the stairs? This is so masterfully done, I cannot fathem how one would even approach this…
How did you make the leaces? How did you create this sense of wear and tare?
Hmm that’s not the cornell box! It’s a fancier variation! Looks nice btw
This looks really good! How did you accomplish the fog on the ground? Are those just transparent blobs, ore some fancy smoke sim?
They are crying cuz of windows ;(
I’d like more pixels please. Literally can’t read it…
Sorry, I should have been more specific. I was refering to websites, which hide all the formatting and have you pressing buttons and shortcuts to make stuff bold, italic and stuff. Sometimes they don’t even give you the option to link anything or create headers. That is what I meant by fake markdown
I have toyed around with bone roll and it indeed fixes the target positioning, but it also breaks the arm rotation itself. So now the arm is slightly twisted but the IK target is pointed at correctly.
I will have a look at Rigify now. I always thought it was some proprietary addon, but it seems to be part of the engine to some degree…
Woah, where’s your shift and space? Also, those left right arrow placements are real good. Do you use vim by chance?
Turns out, the *.rs file needs to be in some kind of folder structure, like the one provided by cargo when creating a project. I was just editing the loose files in the rustlings program, and because they are not in a proper program folder structure, most of the syntax stuff didn’t show up.
Thank you for sharing your experience though! It was very useful for figuring out if what I had was an issue or normal behavior. Now my neovim works perfectly with all the syntax highlighting I could wish for.
did something happen? is plasma just windows now?
so ya just put so the stuff in there? is there a reason for that specific directory (I’m kinda a noob)
true.
but i wanna have a website others can access too. I tried using VPNs for cool stuff already (like controlling my lil raspberry robot from work with my phone) but I want this website to be available to all the people…
should i just bite the bullet and rent some hosting service? Or is there still hope for me putting “setup home website server” on my resume?
