Idk what it is, but your comment has gotta be one of the most well crafted and funny comments I’ve ever seen. I swear it reads like poetry.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate! I just recently got Citra emulator running on my steam deck and it runs great. Plus, Citra can emulate local multiplayer over the internet, so I’m playing with my old buddy who moved to california. Just like we did back in our highschool days.
Well something certainly seems to have been done
I did it myself with my note 9, which I would guess is about the same difficulty level. It was honestly not so bad, you just wanna really take your time and especially have a lot of patience with the screen. The other possibility though is that you have some compressed fluff deep inside the port. The only thing I’ve ever gotten deep enough to fish that stuff out is a sowing needle.
In the context of remasters, the same thing happened with Dark Souls 1 and its remaster.
Yeah, even if it IS true that it’s not juicy right now, doesn’t that mentality run directly contradictory to the desire for linux to become more popular? We’re trying to increase market share, so the “not a juicy target” idea is a very wreckless way of thinking.
“I can read the minds of millions, nobody joining threads ever considered their decision!”
Well said, the problem is, I post nothing on instagram. So my presence on pixelfed is not at all a reason for anyone in my circle to join lol. I imagine since we’re all the nerds of our families/friend-groups here, this is probably the case for a lot of us.
If this happens again, and youre really insistant on reading that answer, people are saying the wayback machine should have that info for you. It’s sorta a win-win because you still get your answer and reddit doesnt get the revenue from your usage.
My SO also gets a lot of great travel and cooking tips from Tik Tok. She only recently made her reddit account lol. But that is for a medical forum, so also one that I dont expect to transition. Luckily for me, almost everything I used to follow was techy in some way, so I’m not bothered by the difference in content over here.
Oh my god… WHERE’S EPOXY HOTDOG GUY?!
Bro its so easy, simply have 5 years of linux experience. Legit tho I’ve been trying linux out for a long time and the only computer I really try to repair instead of reinstalling is my server, cuz I don’t remotely remember how I set that thing up in the first place.
I like that perspective! But at the same time, if the user’s are both the producers and the consumers, where does that leave the platform hosters. We gotta pay our tax at somepoint if we wish to have the space to produce and consume.
I’ve always been a wikipedia donator, but with the fediverse its a little bit harder. I don’t ascribe to one community/instance more than any others, but I don’t want to have to figure out how to spread my donation accross all the instances that I interact with. If everyone just donates to where their home account is, does that balance itself out?
If by emulation you mean your ability to emulate, absolutely not. Its a portable program, you can find countless mirrors of the downloads or ask someone you know and trust for a copy. If you mean active development in 3DS emulation… Yeah probably dead.
