Yeah, it’s definitely an early attempt before they got the formula down with wolfenstein 3D and later perfected it with Doom

I agree that this is a wider problem with streams as a genre.
I think the main problem is that starting a stream and talking about whatever in order to appeal to a larger and larger audience is rewarded rather than good research and preparing high quality content, like on YT or TikTok.
It’s just not possible when you’re streaming and would defeat the purpose. It’s all quantity over quality, so assholes get to the top.
I fucking hate all these streamer “personas”. They always turn out to be assholes.
Even the TERFs are getting into AI grifts nowadays
You seem really chill about this, almost like that soyjack you posted.
I disagree. I think that some aspects of the software should be open about what they’re doing to everyone. Otherwise people just get used to the idea that everything is a black box that they have no real control of. It also helps educate people on IT and its concepts overall.

What’s keeping this from repeating the same scenario?
Don’t forget the great storytelling and atmosphere. Those games must’ve inspired Mass Effect
I’ve never reshelled my GBA but having installed multiple aftermarket shells on my PSP, I can tell you that d-pad issues are very common because of bad measurements and quality. So maybe the problem is the new shell itself.
I think I’m too young to remember that. Every product I ever bought from them had a shitload of technical problems. And the RMA would feature them trying to pressure me into paying for unnecessary services, just like in the video.
This scam seems to be a global policy for ASUS. I live in the EU.
Asus is the worst. Never buying anything from them ever again.

The us will literally do anything but build better public transportation.
Wow, can’t remember the last time a game’s visuals actually disturbed me slightly.
Just a reminder that Fallout was not just inspired by but basically an indirect sequel to Wasteland.
No, they aren’t. Most of them represent the exact same mentality that leads to enshittification - profit at all cost.
So is this an arcade game like Sega Rally or something more realistic like Dirt? The trailer doesn’t make it very clear.
