This is my second season. I’m biking about 5 hours a week right now, averaging about 40-50 miles per week. I don’t know how obvious the toning would be to others but I can certainly see it, since y’know I’m the one who sees myself the most

I’ve been biking so much lately that my legs are getting hella toned, the rest of my body is starting to tone too and I’m feeling much more alive and healthy than I have at any other point in my life!
Yeah my problem with stardew is I feel too invested in min-maxing my time so I end up stressing over every minute in the game and it’s too exhuasting
I honestly stopped watching his content after he tried to make a video about gaming on an older more budget system during the height of the GPU shortages and they were laughing about how the worst components they had on hand was something like a 2070 and a 10th gen i5 and then were making fun of how bad the performance was compared to their current high end components that would easily cost $3k. It was so tone dead it was disgusting
I’ve encountered some unexpected transcodes or playback failures that seem to stem from app compatibility problems. Most TV/streaming stick apps for Jellyfin are maintained by only 1-2 volunteers so you can get some funky bugs given the enormous number of possible combinations of codecs, server settings, client hardware configurations and client versions even for just a single TV/streaming device platform
I worked in a bank for a bit. Literally any transaction that’s large and unusual for the account will be flagged. Also people do bonkers things with their money for the stupidest reasons all the time so all that one has to do if they’re making large transactions is be prepared to talk to the bank and explain what’s going on.
Unless of course you are handling money in relation to organized crime, in which case you were fucked the moment the money touched the banking system
That was Logan Paul, and actually the Paul brothers’ antics actually greatly delayed Pewd’s immigration as the Japanese government actually stopped granting new visas to any social media personalitiws for some time after the Paul incidents.
If I remember correctly he wasn’t able to immigrate until mid-2020 thanks to the Paul Borthers’ lack of respect for anyone
You can even play the sequel in your browser on archive.org!
I mean there’s plenty of shoddy workmanship in these century old homes in the form of creative renovations by various owners. Any home that isn’t brand new is usually a better option though since any problems will have had time to show themselves, or be limited to specific places
That’s super cool. I’d love to know more about Nebula’s business practices, do you know where I could find that information? I’ve seen some interviews with their leadership that didn’t go into anywhere near the depth that I’d like and that’s about it
I’m worried about Nebula’s business model being profitable enough to be sustainable in the long term but given their business model includes making every creator on the platform a part-owner of the platform that does limit how bad things can get
Others have pointed out how people keep growing up in their 20s and 30s. But also as a media personality, you can’t ignore the possibility that he’s playing a character on camera. It could legitimately be he just kept acting like his younger self while recording because that pays the bills
He emigrated to Japan a few years ago
My wife was a PewDiePie fan from before the slur incident so I’ve loosely seen some of his content over the years. He’s apologized multiple times, and he’s shifted his style significantly multiple times since then.
Basically in the last few years he’s grown up a ton. He married his girlfriend of a decade or more after earlier refusing marriage, had a baby, emigrated to Japan and now posts tons of creative and day-in-the-life style vlogs
LBRY is cool but I’m honestly sketched out by the creators that currently exist there. It’s mostly weird libertarians and crypto bros plus random porn bots. Also between the first and most recent times I played with it they added a CDN that hosts all of the files and something like 99% of the data I downloaded while farting around on there came from that single official CDN, so very decentralized.
Peertube has actual large creators who aren’t weird conservative podcasters, and tons of different servers already which serve content, and great Mastadon integration which puts it in a much better spot for growth moving forwards than LBRY. You can literally watch peertube videos from Mastadon (Which has millions of active users including some celebrities and government officials) and comment on them from Mastadon, so there’s kinda already a userbase measured in millions depending on how you classify cross-fediverse users
Over there!
Yeah most 16 bit stuff is old enough that there’s already a mature reimplementation of the game engine or old enough that it’ll run nicely in a translation layer or VM
I guarantee you will summon a number of daemons running any of them though!
Everyone dunks on Apple for throttling older batteries but the fact is this was super pro-consumer move. It prevents the phone from randomly powering off because the SOC tries to pull a burst of energy that the battery is too tired to output, and resets following a battery replacement, plus nobody notices the throttling except under synthetic benchmarks where you actually have performance numbers to see the handful of percentage points of performance difference. AND after this kerfuffle they added a toggle switch where if you so prefer random instability on an aging battery over 2% slower turbo performance you can choose to have that.
This is actually a project on my to-do list for my kids. Sucks that each seat can’t share a framebuffer (otherwise multiple GPUs would be entirely optional) but to get 2 decent gaming experiences out of a cheap used PC plus an extra GPU is pretty sweet
