CarPlay and Android Auto actually work well, and you can use the apps that you already have on your phone. The screens are generally more convenient and restrict view less than a phone holder stuck to the window. But without those, I agree that I’d rather have no screen than one with crappy media controls and the car’s own navigation.

What did they do?

Yeah, ISP-related issue is all I can think of. I can connect to the server over v4 no problem, but the broken v6 connectivity to this particular endpoint is strange and nothing I’ve seen before…

I’ve looked at one, but all that I can tell is I stop reaching things somewhere between my ISP and the datacenter the server is in.
