I think it belongs at the very bottom of the page.
It’s really annoying and I don’t trust it
The Philadelphia Inquirer has. The problem is that Donald Trump and his supporters don’t care what the editorial boards of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the New York Times, or the Washington Post have to say about him.
Because there are a lot of dishonest people who claim they’re only criticizing Hamas, when they are actually calling for violence against all Palestinians.
“Harbu Darbu” is a perfect example of that.
Depends on the server you’re on. Lemmy found popularity when a group of communists had their subreddit(s)banned
That’s actually part of the reason why the original devs started Lemmy.
Finally, a competitive YouTube alternative
Masterful gambit sir
I wouldn’t really compare Bluesky to Mastodon. Ultimately, the Bluesky team still has control over what’s allowed on the app and what’s allowed on the network until third parties launch their own AppViews and relays.
Tankies are the reason why Lemmy exists in the first place.
Lemmy is probably the best fedidiverse project so far and it’s not even close
Bluesky is uniquely un-private. For instance, you can see who blocks who.
It always bugged me when the CEO referred to Bluesky as part of the fediverse because that’s only technically true with projects like Bridgy Fed.
Maybe. Meta and Automattic (WordPress.com and Tumblr) are betting on ActivityPub over ATProtocol.
That project is called Bridgy Fed.
It’s supposed to happen relatively soon I think https://bsky.social/about/blog/11-15-2023-toward-federation
idk. After they dropped invite codes, they started requiring phone numbers for sign up.

User-uploadable custom feeds, which aren’t really possible with ActivityPub
I’m begging google to just bring back YouTube Premium Lite and expand it
