Just finished reading The Object by Joshua T Calvert. Good timing!
PS. It was recommended here in Beehaw 😉

Could be cheese. Oh wait, that’s the moon.
Eddies in the space time continuum.
some of which will hit earth
Hopefully in one particular spot.
Joking aside, if there is going to be a lots of debris hitting us, I wonder how much warning we’ll get.
Also if it does hit the moon, what are the chances of mankind realising once and for all that we are on a small fragile rock zipping through space and we’d be better off taking care of it instead of petty bickering about what toilets people are using?
I won’t hold my breath.
It suits Trumps’s agenda that he can blame Biden for something. And so it continues. Musk wants to keep him onside to guarantee those subsidies and what have you for Space X, so he joins in. Knowing full well what the truth is.
Still looks pretty neat though.

What a surprise!
Arse music.
Wait until she’s old enough to decide for herself. I would be really jacked off to find my parents had put my life online from the minute I was born.
And Google of all the ones she could have chosen? Your wife needs to have a good talk with herself.
Aha! I have heard of Pinephone. Had forgotten them. Will investigate these others. Cheers!
cheap phones with operating systems other than android.
Who please? All I know of are Apple, or Nothing Phone- they’re not cheap IMO.
Genuinely interested though, I’d love to deGoogle.
I for one, welcome our new funghi overlords.
Some of them must have been fairly long lived - they couldn’t have grown that large in just a few years. Several species of whale live over a 100 years. And then we have the Greenland shark living possibly up to 500 years and although not massive, their ancestors must have done something right as their descendants are still here over 400 million years later. Or perhaps they were just very good at hiding.
Nice. If you use Windows.
Thanks - the camera is a big thing for me. Looking at the phone I like the minimalist idea for the OS and the glyphs intrigue me. I’d need to put a case on it though as I’ve dropped a couple of phones. The only one without a case shattered :-(
What’s the camera like? I have an S23 but can’t justify those prices anymore.
Now they just need to shrink that into a phone and we’re good.
It may be the size of a wardrobe now, but remember this?
I never thought they couldn’t. Glass phones were an absolutely ridiculous idea.
Pretty good for the first three quarters, and then (for me anyway) it went a bit too far fetched.
Going to look at some more of his work now.
