Then it is a monopoly building if you take the limited slots before others companies 😁
I was wondering because starlink’s terminals are around $500 while eutelsat’s are 10k. It seems it can be only possible if you accept massive losses on first years, with help of to investors to keep the company running, to take down competitors. Like uber and many others did, which had years of losses before having income.
The rich didnt lost any money, their stock is just lower than in january, but still higher than last year. And it can still get up.
The poor have to cope with higher prices of basic goods, which never comes down.
Only poors are screwed until they eat the leech
Is starlink business model like uber/airbnb? Killing the market with low prices by circumventing regulations to establish their monopoly?
Trump obtained last thursday (feb 27th) the extradition of 29 drug cartel’s barons from Mexicans prisons to US, so, he quite have the choice
The aim is to raise money to fund public transport, so it will become better and cheaper than cars
Check about retrofit kits, if you have 20k to put in your car
No, but I don’t want to live in a society where people in power just let people in need die
Unfortunately open sourcing is not an option without certification, cause vehucles will not be allowed to go on roads.
At least here in europe
A company in my city created an EV conversion kit for any cars years ago. As they could not get certification for all models, they made a partnership with the constructor and managed to have certification for only 1 model (Renault Master, a utility truck) and now the company is controlled by Renault (the constructor).
They indeed killed the competition…
Aaah then it is not a retreat it is just an excuse to fire people and whine about regulations
Obama brought hope, he brought hum… hate ?
Indeed, plus there is no opposition - at all : here, even ecologists are complaining about some solar panel fields projects because companies want to build it in national parks.
Without oil China is trying to ensure energy independence, they go full nuclear too, they want to build 6-10 reactors per year
Whaaat my laptop is 13yo, It is faster than new, just because I added ram and ssd 4 years ago
Surprisingly yes it is, cause big cities are in valleys which are flat (valleys were flattened by massive glaciers), and there is a lovely bike infrastructure.
damn you just reminded me my mom bought a basic calculator with tiny solar panel 25 years ago : it is still working !
damn wild trees crossing street
They will if they are forced by regulation : 10y mandatory warrantee, right to repair, standardized swappable batteries, spare parts production for 20y…
but we need politics who set up such regulations
Or just learn to ignore it, like advertising : when I see a troll I just think “allright this is bullshit” and move on
It’s not enshitification as it was shit since the beginning : how this company was allowed to bypass workers protection laws (working time, minimum wage…), to burn investor’s money with no limit and no real business plan (12 years burning cash without revenue) ?
Yeah people enjoyed their cheap ride, but now the cost is high.
