Thanks! I didn’t think their live feeds were paywalled. I’ll add it to the post.
It’s probably worth noting though that the only distro Valve officially supports is the latest Ubuntu LTS running KDE/Plasma, Gnome, or Unity. That doesn’t mean you’ll have problems on other distros – and you probably won’t! – but Ubuntu is the distro they’re testing on. Valve also maintains Ubuntu-specific troubleshooting resources as well.
Incredible news for us! Thanks, Reddit! 🎉
Great news for Loops!
(there’s a little arrested development in the mix too)
Huzzah!
And it wasn’t announced until pretty late that she was. She was teasing it on her podcast like ‘stay tuned, I know serious people with money who are ready to launch something big’
You don’t need to convince me. I’m Fediverse all day every day :)
I’ve never used post and I haven’t heard anyone talk about them in a long time but they were pushed as a big deal after Musk bought Twitter. Kara Swisher and a lot of rich tech bros were trying to convince everyone they were the Next Big Thing around the time of the big wave of migrations to Mastodon.
You should keep the potato compartment filled with spuds as the good lord intended
No idea why they aren’t showing up in voyager but you can block them from the default web front-end.
This is a conspiracy/propaganda site.
They’re also banned from Wikipedia for publishing “false or fabricated information.”
It was Knight Specialty Insurance Company. Owned by billionaire Don Hankey, who got rich doing subprime car loans. Apparently he’s bailed Trump out before with loans against Trump Tower and Doral golf course.
Amazing! It looks great. Thanks! :)
I can’t find a complete list, but McCue lists some examples here. These newly-federated magazines are apparently curated by the original 25 publishers in their initial test of federation. You can find the list of those publishers here. You should be able to find the magazines by searching for the publishers on Mastodon. Euronews’ Russia-Ukraine crisis magazine, for example, is:
@russia-ukraine-crisis-euronews@flipboard.com
I was able to follow all the publishers I tried. I also followed a few of the new magazines. Seems to work!
More of a political theatre troupe than a political party
But it’s strange that they’d work through the weekend to pass it if it’s just DOA in the house. Republicans seem to think that attempting to add border provisions but being denied by Democrats is more beneficial to them politically than actually passing those provisions. Hopefully it passes, but I’m skeptical too.
A fair criticism. Post updated! :)
