Yeah yeah, we get it. It’s the reason 90% of users are here.
It is still a fact though that there is a lot of knowledge and answered questions on reddit, that is not available somewhere else. Then stuff like this can help access these without you having to make an account.
“I was scared that any of those gang members or murderers that are coming to the country without any authorization would attack me or my family.”
Well now you don’t have a family in the country anymore. Problem solved?
Isn’t that quote no 12653?
Gotta respect the commitment.
Lemmy.floppy when?
Look, they’re not rich. We get it!
Yeah, and it is still fully functional. Can you say the same of your inferior body shape? All hail our new crustacean overlords!
October 2025, right?

Right?
The rest of the world is hoping the bloodbath comes earlier, tbh.
All your saying is, it looks better. I am not using any Lemmy webfrontend, I’ve always been using the apps that are available, many of which are absolutely polished.
Didn’t know about Citron stuff. Time to remove it from my Steamdeck…
Lmao indeed.
Sounds like a transcoding issue which AFAIK can depend on the machine you try to play this with. Doesn’t really solve your problem other than next time get something that’s better at playing more video formats, which is a hilarious and silly problem to have these days.
All I’m hearing is excuses over excuses!
Daaang, I forgot about the 4 (!!!) front cameras. Super creepy. Like, one is already bad and accepted but four…
If you restrict the crap out of the phones so there is not much interesting to do for kids, it will have similar effects. E.g. they complain about YouTube on their kids phones, block it. Complain about games, don’t let them install them.
Children’s smartwatches are a stripped-down version of a typical smartwatch, and they allow parents to restrict app downloads, usage and calls from an approved list of contacts.
All of that you can do with a phone too. I do admit thought the argument of not losing it as easily since its on your arm makes sense.
How would I notice that apart from running a benchmark or a game that needs a lot of GPU power? Mining bitcoins?
I mean, I’m with you, it is nice to support something you use, financially. But you made a one time payment 12 years ago. Your money is certainly not there anymore, they used it and paid something with it. I don’t know, it just sounds like a really weird take reading your post. But maybe its me whose weird, I would prefer one time payment over subscriptions too.
