He finally has enough liquid cash from crypto that he can pay off all the Russian loans. But I don’t think he realizes that you are never really an “ex”-Russian Asset. Oh, and he should probably stay away from tea for a while…
Schumer is going to step aside and leave things wide open for AOC to run for his seat, as long as she explicitly opts out of running for the Democratic Presidential nomination. Gavin is the Next One Up, after all…
She also desperately wants Mandami to win the Mayoral election because if he is unemployed in 2026 he might go after her job
You’re correct, but you are also assuming the media is honest. If I am correct in my assumption that the media (or, at least the mega corporations that own them) are carefully curating favor with the administration, then if these people were “on the right” we’ll be told that they are “on the left” anyway.
I didn’t find any reference to any political motivation
I didn’t either, but that probably implies they are white christofacists, right? (Or, as the Utah governor put it, “one of us”?)
If their demographic was any different and fit the narratives that the Right is trying to spin on this, it would have been leaked already…
“If anyone smacks you on the right cheek, turn and slap that mofo upside the head” : Trump 3:16
Define a while? Last I knew, the Schengen area lets US citizens on the Visa Waiver program stay for a rolling 90 days out of 180. So, you could go for nearly three months before leaving, then once you stay out for three more months and some days fall off your ledger you can come back.
You can play games and leave the Schengen area but not go back to the US. The UK has its own requirements, and since you likely meet them you could go there and chill there waiting for your Schengen access to time out.
This all implies that you have the means during this gap year to fund it all yourself. If any country suspects you are working without authorization, they will escort you back to the US, albeit in a much kinder fashion than we are doing it to their citizens.
I prefer 239 bean soup. Yes, it must be exactly 239 beans, not even one bean more.
If 239 bean soup had even just one more bean, it would be too farty bean soup.
Who are you going to believe, a bunch of economists who went to woke Universities, or Our Lord And Savior Donald Trump?
No, it wasn’t careless, they take a lot of care in spreading misinformation
Reality has a well known Liberal bias
Free Speech! Just like Charlie Kirk would have wanted
There is speculation now online that the “transgender etchings” were just normal ammunition markings that someone conveniently misinterpreted as a trans symbol…
They are apparently talking about the engravings in the news conference. I am not watching but following the NYT feed.
There were engravings on unfired ammunition left with the gun that officials believe was used in the shooting, Gov. Spencer Cox of Utah says in a news conference. One of them read, “Hey fascist! Catch!” the governor said, adding that another read, “If you read this, you are gay LMAO,” an acronym for “laughing my ass off.”
One of the suspect’s unfired casings was adorned with the words “Bella ciao,” said Gov. Spencer Cox of Utah. That’s an apparent reference to an Italian song adopted by the anti-fascist resistance during World War II. It is still sung by the Italian left to commemorate the end of fascism.
So, lots of anti-fascist stuff, but no “trans” stuff unless “U R Gay” is now trans rhetoric.
The best disinformation has an element of truth in it, so that people can point to that and say “it’s true” and ignore the parts that are false, but bolster the narrative.
Edited to add:
The list of messages on the suspect’s casings, as described by Gov. Spencer Cox of Utah, include apparent references to online culture and gaming. “Up arrow, right arrow, and three down arrow symbols,” as described by Cox, may be a reference a sequence of moves on a controller that release a bomb in the video game “Helldivers.” Another engraving, “Notices bulges OWO what’s this?” is a phrase used for trolling in online roleplay communities
Any US Citizen who fails the Peter Griffin in a Fez test should immediately get not only a passport book, but also a passport card. It is only $30 extra, provides all the same proof of citizenship that a passport book does, and it is small enough to carry in your wallet. You shouldn’t have to spend all this money to prove you belong here, but here we are.
Will ICE take it seriously when you present it to them? Of course not, they will say it is fake and confiscate it (and you). But at least you have your passport book safely at home, and your family can present it to get you out (once they find where ICE has whisked you off to). Assuming they manage to do all that, you now have the privilege of paying to sue the Federal Government for wrongful detention in order to get your card back so it doesn’t happen again.
Are we tired of all the winning yet?
This is how we counteract the current attempt to canonize him: remind people of what he actually said. Apparently calling him “divisive” is enough to get you fired from a TV gig. But we can’t deny what he said, in his own words.
But imagine a statue of Charlie Kirk, placed prominently on the National Mall, with an inspirational quote like:
“If I’m dealing with somebody in customer service who’s a moronic Black woman, I wonder is she there because of her excellence, or is she there because affirmative action?”
The US is just mad that we’re not the ones bugging all the other countries, but to do that we would actually have to make shit here
Exactly what Jesus would have done.
