The problem is now all my port forwards stopped working for accessing services via my external IP so I guess there is some kind of firewall going on via wireguard.

To be honest the problem is I’m trying to connect to the VPN provider I have with openvpn client. Im with windscribe, I get as far as importing the profile, attempting to start the service, entering the username and password for the VPN but the thing just won’t start.

I will persevere then, at least it’s improving my Linux skills!

Guys this is off topic but I’m using Ubuntu server for a jellyfin/coding server and getting headaches trying to do things cli only… for example connecting openvpn.

Is this actually doable? I’ve kept an old hard drive with stuff I had on my computer from being a teenager I’d like to bring back to life… it shorted out. Might be a challenge to find was an early 100gb wd drive.

Yeah my mum will need to sell up to live on through retirement and my dad has a much younger wife that is not blood related to me so I’ll never see anything there.

Guessing amd has better Linux support? Been running Linux for a while on my laptop but my gaming rig has been a windows strong hold.

Not supporting intel 7th gen and back seemed pretty strong handed, even now they’re still decent processors.

And I know there are work-arounds but not for the average consumer

God I loved the Nexus 4, I had iPhones from iPhone 3G to 4 moved to a Galaxy S3 which I absolutely despised due to the bloatware… sold that on eBay and bought a Nexus 4 16gb for £280… Had Nexus/Pixel branded phones ever since.
