The AP-NORC poll of 1,121 U.S. adults

They had the audacity to claim that 0.0003% of the population indicative of the whole. As if we didn’t know already, these ppl are divorced from reality and are pushing rage bait/propaganda.

Who do you think is telling the CEO’s to go full steam ahead on ai? The company I work for openly mocked ai…and then the stock price dropped. The investors said it was because they weren’t investing in ai. Even CEO’s, overpaid clowns though they may be, report to wall st.

Had a friend of mine rib me for “not just paying for a license (for windows)”. Tried to explain that wasn’t the point to their befuddlement. Smh

Playing the games I payed for on hardware that can actually run them. Or just whatever hardware I want.

It’s wild how you get: gun buyback programs = bad. Rather than: corrupt corporations need watchdogs.

Linode has some cool “turnkey” solutions for this. One example: https://www.linode.com/marketplace/apps/nextcloud/nextcloud/

So instead of doing a reverse proxy or vpn on self hosted hardware you would be renting linode servers that are already connected. Then you just have to follow the instructions to hook up a domain or add the relevant dns records.

Either way is fine it just depends on what you’re comfortable with and what you have on hand/want to buy.

That’s one way to make more work for yourself.
