I’m so tired.

This is also why the beehaw defederation from lemmy.world was initially so confusing, because lemmy.world users thought they could still see and comment on beehaw posts and communities: What they were actually seeing was “lemmy.world/c/[community]@beehaw.org”, which took some time to desync and still let them post.
He didn’t post it to “https://lemm.ee/c/meta”, he posted it to https://lemmy.world/c/meta@lemm.ee, which is on lemmy.world but federates to other servers via lemm.ee.
Last time I looked at the list, It’s mostly an imported list of horrible mastodon/pleroma instances, not Lemmy servers, and seemed reasonable to me. Go take a look at a few.
Not that I think it would change the results, just out of curiosity, can you as the admin separate out upvotes/downvotes by lemm.ee accounts versus other servers voting?
If you’re unsure, just post. It’s fine.
It was caught on archive.org:

Oh, they’re not in the official F-Droid repo yet, but they are in the IzzyOnDroid repo, which you can add as a source.
Liftoff and Thunder are both available right now via F-Droid if you add the IzzyOnDroid repo. I’m using Liftoff and I like it.
That’s an extremely good point: youtube actually does pay out to creators in a way that most other sites do not. Sure, they will often supplement this income with kofi or patreon, but if that youtube income stream dries up, a lot of the youtubers will simply call it quits instead of migrating to other platforms.
Alternatives to YouTube include Vimeo and the fediverse’s Peertube, but I am not sure they qualify as competitors.
Actually, the peer-sharing nature of Peertube makes me wonder if it could handle a sudden surge of users better than the rest of the fediverse.
Since the update to “UI: 0.19.0 BE: 0.19.1-rc.1”, pagination for comments seems to be broken? or disabled? @sunaurus@lemm.ee, do you know if this is a lemm.ee thing or a lemmy thing? I don’t see other people mentioning this when I looked for an issue.
What I mean: go to https://lemm.ee/c/meta?dataType=Comment&sort=New, and scroll to the bottom. The “Next” button is disabled (and if you edit the html to enable it, pressing it does nothing).
