Is there any ranking of ‘most pirated game’ tracked by leechers accross to top indexes?
I remember FIFA being the first thing everyone pirated when I lived in the dorms in University.
I would upgrade for a slightly smaller, more battery efficient Steamdeck with an OLED screen. I know that’s a lot to ask for, but definitely performance is the least of my concerns.
Does this type of mod break with updates, or could you potentially just stay on the version you downloaded and forego any updates? I don’t mod much to the point where I’ve paid for any, but curious the requisite of ongoing subscription for this type of thing.
I would go for PC, simply for the fact that you can get a Quake 2 key for super cheap, and the upgrade is free on PC for existing owners.
Also Xenia Canary is a much better expierience than emulatoing Switch
At some level, even a “DRM Free” game like The Witcher could still be argued as having DRM since you need to authenticate your purchase with steam to download it.
If you’re willing to give up your option to refund in a 2hr gameplay window, you can get a Steam key from reputable (not greymarket) sellers for a decent discount. Here’s an example
BG3 for me as well. I’m just a handful of hours into Act 2 after spending 20+hrs in Act 1. So far, I preferred the less dreary scenery of Act 1, but still enjoying the way the story is going. Can’t express enough how blown away I’ve been by this game so far. I haven’t been so hooked on an RPG since Witcher 3.
I’d agree - SkillUp’s channel (including FPS), and Digital Foundry’s DF Weekly covers pretty much all my gaming needs with their content.
I’m surprised they didn’t pause the release of this video until they were ready to address those alegations as well.
Yeah I kinda thought Battlebit Remastered would be the Unity, Early Access, Indie hit of 2023.
It’s a free upgrade on PC if you own the game on Steam. Really decent for them to go that route rather than a paid upgrade.
Basically the equivalent of “we investigated ourselves and found no wrongdoing.”
I’ll never understand, but it must be working out for them. I can’t think of any other AAA non-first party devs that don’t release on all platforms at the same time (even if the PC version is a mess). Makes you appreciate the likes of Bethesda, Activision, etc a little more even for all the shit they pull, but makes you REALLY appreciate the Larians out there.
Apparently the PS3 version was a huge mess, which lends itself to the fact that it never made it to PS4. I do wonder though, how they went about remastering this version. Will be really interesting to see a breakdown from Digital Foundry once it’s available.
I heard that they are pushing an FSR update in time for the PS5 release. Hopefully that fixes things up.
Reminds me of this amazing video from KRAZAM - Microsoft Stream Highlights (3/19)
Yeah, I don’t get it – the game is essentially online-only (not sure if you can play with bot teammates like the previous titles, but that wasn’t too enjoyable anyway). Why pay for Denuvo as well unless you’re out of touch?
Controllers in general are also extremely accessible, and expandable for those that might struggle using a tradtional mouse and keyboard.
