5 months agoI highly recommend anyone with ADHD drive standard if they’re ever in a position where they have to learn how to drive. It forces you to focus on driving and keeps your hands busy. I used to be the same way, but I had to start driving or become homeless so I’ve been driving standard ever since.
I used to feel the exact same way. I avoided driving until I was in my late 20’s but it’s a lot easier than you think. Drive sober and pay attention to everyone around you and you get used to it really quickly.
