Well, that sounds promising at least.
If you don’t think those things are very much related, may I suggest reading this post on Lemmy today.
The levels of corruption aimed at climate denial and in furthering fossil fuels is frightening.

Keeping in mind I have zero knowledge of what you’re telling me about, but these examples don’t include anything about carbon monoxide.
If the similarities to the other gases are close enough to mean that it can be safely stored using the same techniques, then I’m inclined to feel a lot less worried about the whole thing.
But I don’t really trust these sectors to act on our behalf, only to make profit line go up. Lying and bribing appears to be part of that, as can be seen all around us these days.
Yes, the article says that but I’m not sure how much I believe it. If there’s a decent body of work that draws consensus I would be less sceptical.
I wouldn’t call carbon monoxide a good side product. If the amount created is negligible then great, but are there realistic figures?
I’m no expert, but this doesn’t sound like a good idea.
Slightly odd that you would assume this one graph is the only information people have been exposed to.
I assumed that anyone visiting the Fediverse is also a resident human of the Earth.

Edit: My apologies, I must have double posted this but I’ve no idea how. Anyway, it’s superfluous so I’ve crossed through it for clarity.
Greetings from the UK!
I would not swap my 12R for an 8a, no way. Screen size and fast charge are more important to me than anything the Pixel offers.
The compromises are less important to me. Camera, flat screen, availability of ROMs and all that, are probably the biggest. I can live with the camera, it’s fine for normal stuff. The curved screen can be annoying but only very occasionally. I can live with it.
There are already custom ROMs for the 12R. The process isn’t as straightforward but I don’t use them until official support ends. By then it’s likely to be smoothed out, along with the compatibility of things like Gcam.
I think the 12R is well worth considering in it’s own right as a decent phone. As an alternative to the 8a, for me there’s no competition.
YMMV.
Yes, yes, yes!
In fact, I think you could extend this to all art and possibly even to the online identity of all humans.
Guys, I’ll distract him, you get his bike!
We are eventually going to be spending(sic) humans to other planets
Ha, no.
Checking in, it’s up for me right now. Seems like an ongoing battle though.
Good luck, fellas!
If this is what it looks like, then it’s about fucking time. Hopefully others will follow and it won’t be too late.

Lol.
At the time when I was using computers and keyboards at work, and even played Typing of the Dead occasionally, I would probably have struggled to get anywhere near 40wpm.
So not fast at all, but also not slow on mobile. I wonder if there’s a test?
Retrain your fingers! Seriously though, muscle memory is a big factor. Get out the habit of typing the next letter, if the word is there just use it. Iirc, this is how they beat speed typing records.
I like it when I use Ableton Live.
I can load any of my projects and everything is running exactly how I left it. Any issues I’ve had have been down to 3rd party plugins.
I’m fortunate in that this is the only thing I use my MBP for, other than accessing music stuff on the internet using Firefox with uBlock, which is synced with my phone.
It’s not logged into Apple ID, and I bought it used. So there’s no money paid to Apple and as little data as I can give them.
It’s my hobby, but if I were to do it professionally I would do everything exactly the same. Except I would buy the machine new.
