I have a split ergo (Ergodox) and an ortho (Preonic). The Ergodox is my normal keyboard and has modifiers and a number row. I use the ortho for cad/3d work when my right hand stays on a mouse so I can type commands and inputs one handed. I still don’t have muscle memory fully down to use layers for symbols and numbers but could get there.
yeah it’s an interesting method- info on both switches says they’re only compatible with lekker and wooting boards and I’m wondering what the compatibility issue is
These switches have a physically different footprint from MX, right? Or is it an electrical reason why they’re not cross compatible?
Boba U4T are a good try at ~60g with nice tactility. Zilent v2 come in two weights but they’re only 5g apart or something.
Ergodox-EZ with diy tenting and a mix of box jade and Boba U4s, MT3 profile caps.
CA glue may also work, but test it first as it may melt your keycap material
