That was my first thought, too. I hope it (drumroll) flies under trumps radar.

Wow, that’s really cool tech!
No, its something different, according to the blog:
First up, the brains of the watch is the JL7012 - which is a deliberately underpowered chip.
Maybe a Fairphone if you’re located in the EU? Depending on your requirements.
I’m using the same arch install on my home server for 10 years now.
Yeah. The PS2 got three GTAs, GTA V got three consoles.
That would be a cool project. But I guess you would at least need a 48 core CPU or something similar.
“Free Software” is a defined term: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_software
At least with those you get an option of physical release at the same price.
At least in Europe the physical version is more expensive. Mario Kart World for example:
Seems to be a third person shooter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pk46C_38-1k
That’s even worse.
This looks cool!
I don’t know why it should be easier. I pay this provider and I get a working email account without problems.
I would guess a few thousand users.
My understanding is that for reliable email, you need to host with microsoft or google otherwise you are more likely to get sorted into junk mail. If that is incorrect, please let me know.
I don’t know. I never had a problems with a smaller mail provider.
Always a good, albeit depressing read.
Unix Haters Handbook

Didn’t knew this. It has 360 pages, wow!
EDIT:
The Macintosh on which I type this has 64MB: Unix was not designed for the Mac. What kind of challenge is there when you have that much RAM?
hehe
I read this every time it’s posted. It’s so great.
I was searching for this a few days ago and was stunned that you aren’t able to just create an empty file in the gnome file manager.
In the terminal you can use touch file.txt
to create an empty file, but it should be possible to do this in the file manager.
You’re right. As an old-timey linux user I find it more confusing than running the services directly, too. It’s another abstraction layer that you need to manage and which has its own pitfalls.
