Also, if you need that much power to do something bthat a human brain does with under 100 watts, I really think you’re doing it wrong
Show me at least 1 person that is capable of doing everything that something like ChatGPT can do.
In real life, people are subject to biases and heuristics even if they think that they are acting in their best interest. This is what many economic theories fail to take into account. Moreover, within the organization different subjects would have different economic interests and means to achieve them.
Because in any dispute between a driver and a customer, drivers will protect drivers.
As a customer I’d rather use a platform that is not owned by drivers.
I thought this was a legal requirement in the EU. Though it’s not my headache anymore.
nobody believes for a minute they’re not profitable
That’s not a question of beliefs. We’re not in a church.
What’s with this low-effort clickbait title? Come on…
Does it satisfy your needs or not?
Would I sell my principles and beliefs for 20k? No. And if anyone makes you such a generous offer, then you’re already in a position when you’re making more than enough for a comfortable life.
This is a publicity stunt to get more funding.
It would be if the FDA hadn’t approved this. This is the most puzzling part.
Will Launch Ad-Free Tier For Extra Fee
So instead of introducing a cheaper tier with ads, they’re forcing customers to pay more?
I don’t understand why people don’t have the fantasy imagine all the possibilities in which AI can help us progress from the absolutely dismal state of the world we live in currently.
Because one of the primal functions of our brains is to protect us from threats. These people live today. If history teaches us anything, it’s that such inventions benefit elites and it takes years of active civil work to fight back.
AI can help us solve many problems, but risks are there. It doesn’t help that politicians have no idea how to regulate AI properly.
To be fair, this includes those, who should regulate tech companies. I’d say that people should be concerned.
I can’t imagine AI controlled assault drones would help rich people at all.
Rich people sell them. Armies benefit from AI-controlled drones, because they can be extremely precise, hit moving targets and don’t care about connection interference if brains are on board.
ChatGPT is mainly a tool for cheating on homework.
I disagree. The chart shows a 12% growth. How does it make ChatGPT a tool that is mainly being used by students? Some of these 12% are probably people, who came back from vacations.
I disagree. 3D TV is nothing compared to VR. VR is an absolutely incredible thing. It provided me the best gaming experience I’ve had in 19 years (from Hal-Life 2 to Half-Life Alyx) The issue is that you need a good headset and a very expensive hardware to enjoy it, few people can afford that. Because of that, there are not enough players and developers don’t want to spend money developing AAA-games for such a small market.
We are listening, talking to our team members, community, customers, and partners, and will be making changes to the policy. We will share an update in a couple of days. Thank you for your honest and critical feedback.
Let’s see what they’ll announce. So far it’s nothing.
Yeah. At least share it like this, @nixchick@lemmy.ml https://archive.ph/vOkqH
All it does, eh? It doesn’t do anything else? I don’t think you’ve ever used ChatGPT. It has more knowledge and capabilities than any single human. Yes, a single human can have more expertise in one or bunch of the topics, but no human brain can have as much general knowledge as ChatGPT. And unlike us, it can improve, there’s no limit.
