“Improving” is not a word I would use in this case.

Yeah… OP’s question is phrased borderline offensive.
True.
On the upside, when a conversation is deleted, it’s actually gone.
Use Open Assistant where possible instead of ChatGPT or Bing Chat or the likes.
Also, the Open Assistant project needs practical support to train its model.
It’s actually quite liberating to switch it off every now and then and just go about ones business without it.
If I wouldn’t dislike Discord so much.
A thought: seeing that this is an app for Lemmy, why not have a Lemmy community?
Bookmarked. 🙏
And (at the moment, at least) we can edit the post title and body. So it is fixable. 👍
No problem. Thanks really goes to all those who put in all the effort to write these lists.
Like so: !fossdroid@social.fossware.space (Note this post: Community moved to new space)
It’s “exclamation mark” “community name” “@” “server name”
I’ll do you a few better. Others have done it before. Here are some examples of excellent posts on the subject. Search Lemmy a bit and you’ll find many more.
A website that lists quite a number of Android FOSS apps:
And here is an entire community dedicated to that topic:
Replaced a lot of apps on my phone with FOSS alternatives.
Qapla’!
It’s Logitech. Can’t get much worse.
What’s your Instagram address?
Or better: open a second parallel account on Pixelfed. And let us know your account.
Nice. Where and how will you release it? Looks like I’d want to give it a run.
Try reloading without cache after saving. On Windows that would be
CTRL+F5
Let’s see who outlast who in this game.
Social media platforms should be built to serve their communities, not just to produce profits for investors and executives. And however successful they may become, they should never turn their backs on the committed and enthusiastic developers that helped them at the start.
This is painful to read. Calling out the betrayal.
I just launch Firefox with this option:
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -ProfileManager
Always launches with the profile selector. Then install a profile switcher extension. Done.
Unfortuntaley 1) it doesn’t really come out of the box and 2) the extension must be installed on every single profile. Not the most obvious or user friendly.
